How To Apply
To apply to the Shanghai Acupuncture College Ireland you must complete our application form.
- All applicants must be over 18 years and hold a second level qualificiation to leaving certificate standard or equivalent.
- Each applicant will be required to attend an interview to satisfy the college requirements, demonstrating that they are capable of completeing the intensive study and clinical practice programme.
- Applications with medical qualifications seeking exemptions from course topics will be considered case by case.
- All classes are conducted in English and non-English speaking students must have completed a proficienty level of the Test Of English as a foreign Language (TOEFL) or its recognised equivlant.
- TRANSFEREE applicants who wish to transfer from other Colleges will be considered for entry into the course on a case by csae basis. Applicants pusuing this route must supply the Programme Director with details of learning to date and two academic references in addition to attending an interview.
- Where demand for the programme exceeds the number of available places, selection will be based on academic merit and relevant experience.
- On receipt of the application form, an individual will be contacted to schedule a suitable interview time.
On acceptance to the programme, a letter will be issued including a registration form. A €200 non-refundable deposit should be returned with the registration form. The remainder of the annual fee must be paid in two equal parts. The first payment is required no later than two weeks before commencement of the academic year and hte second payment not later than two weeds before the start of the second term of the programme.
