Professional Registration
When you have completed your course and should you wish to begin practicing as an acupuncturist, registration for health insurance cover should be obtained. In order to acquire health insurance cover from organisations such as VHI, BUPA and VIVA, it is a requirement to have joined a professional association.
All graduates from Shanghai Acupuncture College Ireland, as well as any students who have completed their studies are entitled to apply and join any associations as per Department of Health and Children information section.Students must have completed a course, which complies with qualification standards.
